Where we came from
Hey! I’m Jimmy Rickard and I’m the director of RAW Structures.
Growing up I was very active, putting all of my energy into sports, surf lifesaving and the community. Once I reached my later years of schooling, some of those things took a backseat as I developed my passion through learning a trade, which was the perfect opportunity to harness my natural abilities.
My first home restoration project was for a family friend who still raves about the work today. It was a little yellow brick house in Morphett Vale, and I was given the flexibility to work my magic and put my creativity to work.
Since that day, RAW Structures has evolved through passion, energy, leadership and a lot of sweat and hard work. I now employ a team of hardworking tradespeople who encapsulate exactly what RAW Structures stands for, which is an eye for detail and making sure every job is completed to the highest possible level.
As a people first person, I enjoy meeting and getting to know my clients, as it allows for a much better understanding of the requirements of the job. Developing that relationship and vision together helps to bring about unique conceptual design and development. It’s qualities like this that have enabled me to grow RAW Structures from its beginnings into a team of hardworking experts, capable of handling any task no matter how big or small.
Today we are a licensed Adelaide building company (Builders Licence #BLD332236), with our builders and specialist trades under one roof, so we can look after the whole job, from renovations and extensions through to new homes and commercial work.
What We Do as Adelaide Builders
RAW Structures is a full-service Adelaide building company. We take on home renovations, extensions, new home builds and commercial fitouts, and because our building and specialist trades sit under one roof, your whole project stays with one accountable team from the first site visit to handover.
Much of our work is renovating and extending existing Adelaide homes, so we know how to build onto what you already have. We work with homeowners and families, and regularly alongside developers, architects and property owners, on both residential and commercial projects across Adelaide and South Australia.
