Port Noarlunga South
Port Noarlunga South
This Port Noarlunga South home came to us needing everything done at once. Inside, outside and the yard. It is the kind of project that shows exactly why we keep building and the specialist trades under one roof, because a job like this falls apart quickly when six different trades are each working to their own schedule.
We started at the top and replaced the roof, then worked our way through the house.
The original hardwood floors were still sound underneath years of wear, so rather than cover them up we resanded and polished them back. Recovering good timber is always the better outcome than replacing it, and it gave the whole house a warmer, more honest starting point to build the rest of the finishes around.
The kitchen was fully renovated, and we took on two bathroom renovations in the same programme. Running the wet areas together meant one set of plumbing and electrical coordination, one waterproofing stage and one round of disruption for the owners, rather than pulling the same trades back twice.
Outside, we resheeted and repainted the pergola to bring it back into line with the rest of the home, then completed full interior and exterior painting to tie the whole property together.
The result is a house that reads as one coherent renovation rather than a series of separate jobs, which is the hardest thing to get right on a full-house project. Light, warm and properly finished, inside and out. An outcome we are extremely proud of.
