Our Eden Hills Project
We gave this Eden Hills home a stunning makeover, and we’ve been itching to share the progress with you.
Built in the mid-60’s, we wanted to keep some of the features that give the home character, while adding a sleek and modern look. To achieve this we painted all the internal linings in Solver Colour ‘New Ceiling’. This created a contemporary and stylish atmosphere throughout the house.
A revamp of the kitchen area consisted of painting existing splashbacks, and transforming the laminate benchtops with a Venetian light-grey polished concrete. The transformation from stock laminate to venetian plastered benchtops really adds a sense of luxury to the home.
We want the fireplace and laundry area to make a statement. To achieve that, we painted them in a complementary colour that beautifully contrasts with the light grey concrete. The combustion heater was bricked up and patched to improve functionality and safety, creating a striking focal point!
The exterior of the house got a fresh new look. We used Solver ‘New Ceiling’ paint for the windows, eaves, and ceilings, while the downpipes and gutters were painted using Surfmist to give it that clean and fresh appearance. This combination of colours really brought the home to life.
Last but not least, we painted the cladding in a colour called ‘Domino’. This choice added a touch of sophistication and elegance to the overall design.
